Song Joong Ki shared that he was bullied when he first started his career
Song Joong Ki is currently a famous and most loved actor in Korea. To get the current A-star position, Song Joong Ki had to work hard and try a lot.
Song Joong Ki started acting in 2007, while he was still in college, in the movie Get Karl! Oh Soo-jung of SBS, in which he plays “reporter 3”.
When Song Joong Ki debuted, finding roles and making a name for himself was not easy.
The actor explained that he chose the supporting roles on his own because he didn’t even have an agency at the time to help. The first role he got was in his senior year of college.
Song Joong Ki said: After coming to the set for the first time, he was shocked at the scale of the series. In addition, he said his inexperience and status as a rookie in the K-Drama scene caused some tension with the other actors, especially with the actors playing the other two reporters: When I was given the role of Reporter 3, I was a newface. At that time, the actors playing Reporters 1 and 2 pulled me into the corner while they were preparing to shoot.”
Song Joong Ki explained that they asked him how he got the role, especially since he was quite inexperienced.
It wasn’t until after filming that the reasons behind the other actors’ behavior became clear.
At the time, he was still a young actor and didn’t realize the scale of the opportunity he was given: “I don’t know why they asked. But then I realized that the competition is fierce in that world.
I got lucky and I got the ‘ok’ sign. I feel emotional when I say a line for the first time” – Song Joong Ki.
Of course, even though it was only a small role, it made a huge impact and could easily become a launch pad for Song Joong Ki’s career.
