On November 30, Ten Asia reported that Park Shin Hye took on the role of the female lead Nam Ha Neul of the drama “Doctor Slump“. Actor Park Hyung Sik was invited to play the male lead Yeo Jung Woo.
Responding to information from Ten Asia, Salt Entertainment – Park Shin Hye’s management company – shared, “Park Shin Hye has received an offer to play the lead role in Doctor Slump. The actress is actively considering the offer.”
On the same day, a representative of Park Hyung Sik’s management company announced that the actor received an invitation and is in the process of considering it. After the news was posted, fans expect to see Park Shin Hye working with Park Hyung Sik in the upcoming movie.
Doctor Slump tells the story of the doctors’ resuscitation as they fall into a state of depression and their lives are ruined. The romantic comedy revolves around the love and growth of two people living on the rooftop of a house after quitting their jobs as doctors. Above all, this is Park Shin Hye’s first medical work since her role in the drama “Doctors”.
Park Shin Hye and actor Choi Tae Joon got married on January 22 at a church in Gangdong-gu, Seoul. In May, Korean media reported that she gave birth to her first son.
