Park Seo Joon will take on the role of Captain Marvel’s husband in his Hollywood debut
On December 5, many Twitter accounts specializing in leaks about Marvel movies revealed that Korean actor Park Seo Joon will play Prince Yan in the movie The Marvels. This information was soon confirmed by Cosmic Marvel.
Writer Daniel Richtman said Prince Yan is the head of a musical planet where everyone living there must sing to communicate with each other. In particular, Prince Yan will have a wedding with the female lead Carol Danvers (also known as Captain Marvel played by Brie Larson). It is not clear whether Prince Yan and Carol Danvers married for love or just for political purposes.
Actor Park Seo Joon may even be able to show off his singing ability in the second Captain Marvel solo movie. Part 2 of Captain Marvel is expected to be released in February next year and Park Seo Joon’s role is highly anticipated by Asian audiences.
