Fans are worried that the ‘Snowdrop’ controversy will affect the careers of Jung Hae In and BLACKPINK Jisoo. Youth Organization has issued a warning that it will file a broadcasting ban.
On December 18, after JTBC aired its first episode, the drama ‘Snowdrop’ faced charges of distorting history and glorifying state violence. Not only that, but recently the film melodrama must faces another lawsuit demanding the show’s cancellation. More than 200,000 signatures have reached the Blue House, petitioning to revoke the horror movie’s broadcast.

Also, amid the controversy “Snowdrop” JTBC Kdrama could face a ban after a youth nonprofit, World Citizens expressed their disappointment with the series.
According to Yonhap News, the group announced on December 20 that they will be filing a ban on broadcasting “Snowdrop” saying that the series “glorifies state violence” and is being witnessed by millions of viewers. via OTT
“This is a clear insult to those who have resisted the military dictatorship with their whole body,” Co-CEO Lee Seol Ah said in a statement.
