Almost 20 years in the industry but Lee Seung Gi is still being treated like a high school student
On November 28, Lee Seung Gi appeared on SBS’s program “Master In The House” with actors Hwang Je Sung, King Dong Hyun, Yang Se Hyung, and Yoo Su Bin. With the invitation of communication master Kim Chang Ok, the guests were asked to share their concerns and worries about the issue.
Actor Lee Seung Gi said there are relationships that make it difficult for him to talk, “I debuted in 2004 and am in the 18th year of my career. I’ve gotten older and more mature, but there are some seniors who still treat me like I’m a high school student.”
When asked if these people are Kang Ho Dong and Lee Sun Hee – brothers who have been close to Lee Seung Gi since the day he started working, the actor denied, “Not them at all.”
The “national son-in-law” added, “The seniors I’m talking about, they sometimes talk to me, and I think these are all the words that I heard when I was in high school. It’s hard to communicate with them.”
Before the problems that Lee Seung Gi faced, communication expert Kim Chang Ok gave him advice: “I think many people abuse love without respect. It hurts to hear things like it’s all about you and not be treated with respect. The first door to a good relationship is not love but courtesy and you shouldn’t give advice to someone who crosses the line of this.”
Lee Seung Gi, born in 1987, is known as a talented Korean actor who made his mark through famous dramas such as My Girlfriend is a Fox, Vagabond, Hoa Du Ky… and also “Prince ballad” of the Korean music industry.
