Actor Shin Hyun Seung has been confirmed as the main star in the webtoon-based drama ‘Pumpkin Time’ co-starring Lee Soo Min .
Although he has just joined the entertainment industry, the 23-year-old actor continues to attract attention with his charming appearance and acting skills.
Recently, Shin Hyun Seung’s agency, C-Jes Entertainment, announced that the actor will appear as the male lead in the drama “Pumpkin Time.”
“Pumpkin Time” is said to have received high ratings on KakaoPage and captured the attention of readers with its unique and interesting content promoting love and friendship.
The drama tells the story of longtime best friends Kang Tae Joo (Shin Hyun Seung), a baseball promoter, and Shin Hae Won (Lee Soo Min), a high school girl, who recently reconnected after move out of Korea.
After years of no contact, Tae Joo decides to return to his hometown to look for Hae Won. However, he was surprised to learn that the male lead’s best friend is now a high school girl.
This raises the question of whether he will continue his friendship despite Shin Hae Won’s change of heart.
The upcoming webtoon-based K-drama “Pumpkin Time” directed by Kang Min Gu, the man behind the comedy series “Job Wars” and “Goddess of Revenge” is scheduled to premiere in the second half of the year 2021.
